A story of transformation, told through design.
Our beginning
Founded in 2022 by designer Paz Morales, Mpaz Studio was born from a period of transformation — when creativity became a form of healing. What began as a small collection of reworked pieces soon evolved into a contemporary label rooted in craftsmanship, resilience, and emotion.
Inspired by the ease of Los Angeles, Mpaz Studio designs pieces that feel lived-in yet refined — blending structure and softness in every detail.

Founder's Note
Mpaz Studio is designed in Los Angeles, California, where I live and create, and produced in our own ateliers in Bogotá, Colombia, my birth country.
Being Colombian and now based in Los Angeles has shaped the way I see fashion. The brand lives in this duality — California’s creative freedom and Colombia’s deep tradition of craftsmanship. While the design vision is developed in Los Angeles, all production and operations are led from Colombia, where our ateliers are owned and operated by Mpaz Studio.
From the very beginning, I knew I wanted to build the brand slowly and intentionally. Keeping production close allows me to be deeply involved in every step — from sourcing and pattern making to final construction. Each piece is created by our in-house team of skilled artisans, seamstresses, and creators who work in safe, respectful, and supportive environments.
We do not mass produce or outsource to unknown factories. By producing within our own ateliers, we ensure ethical labor practices, fair working conditions, and consistent quality, while maintaining a real, human connection to the people who bring each garment to life.
Our team in Colombia oversees production, sourcing, and marketing, working closely with our design direction in Los Angeles. This structure allows us to create with care, refine thoughtfully, and release collections with intention rather than urgency.
Sustainability is an ongoing commitment for me and for Mpaz Studio. We focus on responsible sourcing, mindful production quantities, and creating pieces designed to be worn, repeated, and kept — beyond trends and seasons.
Every garment passes through many hands, and I value each person involved in its creation. Without them, Mpaz Studio would not exist.
